1 - Led by Pastors- The church is led by the Lead Pastor, which is Josh Allen. As the church grows and roles are developed and added; the primary day-to-day leaders are the Pastoral staff. Jen Allen will be one of the staff pastors, and we’re hoping to hire two others as soon as possible. The Lead Pastor leads the Pastors and staff, and those in the role of Pastor in the church have a high calling and walk in the authority and character of their position.

2 - Governed, Strengthened, and Protected by Elders- The first three years Burning River Church will have an external board of elders responsible to oversee finances, provide wisdom and guidance on major decisions, and ensure sound doctrine and highest integrity in the personal and professional doings of the church and its leaders. The elders have the power to fire and/or discipline the Lead Pastor. After three years, the plan is to transition to internal elders as the church is developed and individuals that prove themselves ready and worthy step into those roles.

3- Part of the Vineyard Fellowship- Burning River Vineyard Church (full name) is honored to be a part of the Vineyard Fellowship.
